Position Summary

Walton Physical Therapy is seeking a motivated and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our growing outpatient orthopedic practice. This position is available as either full-time or part-time, offering flexibility to fit your schedule. The ideal candidate is committed to delivering evidence-based care, building meaningful relationships with patients, and collaborating with our experienced team to provide outstanding outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans.

• Provide evidence-based physical therapy interventions for orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions.

• Educate patients on their diagnosis, treatment plan, home exercise programs, and injury prevention.

• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate.

• Accurately document evaluations, daily treatments, progress notes, and discharge summaries.

• Collaborate with physicians, referral sources, and other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe treatment environment.

• Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive clinic culture.

• Deliver exceptional customer service while fostering long-term patient relationships.

 

Qualifications Required

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.

• Current Oregon Physical Therapist license or eligibility for licensure.

• Current CPR certification.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving abilities.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

 

Preferred

• Experience in outpatient orthopedic physical therapy.

• Manual therapy experience or advanced orthopedic training.

• Experience treating athletes, post-operative patients, and active adults.
